INTERNAL QUALITY AUDIT
Description. No quality management system can fulfill its potential
unless it is regularly monitored. This intensive two-day course teaches delegates
how to conduct internal auditing to best effect. They will learn auditing
techniques compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 10011. They will also learn how
to plan, perform and report on an audit and how to take corrective action.
Through learned inputs from this training, your organization will remain consistently
compliant with the exacting requirements of ISO 9001. This course empowers
staff to identify any gaps that threaten the effectiveness of your quality
management system. Auditors gain self-confidence through hands-on experience.
Objectives. At the end of the
program, the participant shall be able to:
- realize the importance of internal audit as a tool in
identifying
improvement opportunities in the Quality
Management System;
- interpret requirements of ISO 9001 in the context of
an audit;
- describe the roles and responsibilities of internal auditors;
and
- plan and conduct an audit in accordnace with ISO 10011.
Pre-requisite. Has attended ISO awareness
(ISO 9001:2000) seminar
Instruction Method. A combination of lecture-discussion,
workshop, role playing, conduct of actual audit and critiquing of results.
Who should attend. Staff responsible
for auditing who already possessed an understanding of ISO 9001.
