EFFECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF DOCUMENT CONTROL

Description. This two-day course is based on the ISO 9001:2000 requirements regarding documentation. The course provides practical guidance on how to write readable and usable documents for quality management systems.

Objectives. At the end of the 16-hour seminar-workshop, the participants shall be able to:
• understand the document control requirements of ISO 9001:2000
• deploy an efficient and effective document control in their organizations; and
• appreciate the role of a document custodian.


Methodology. The seminar-workshop will make use of lecture-discussion, workshop, role playing and critiquing to maximize learning.

Who should attend. This course is intended for anyone involved in defining, writing, or managing quality system documentation conforming to ISO 9001:2000. Knowledge of ISO 9001 is desirable.
