GOOD LABORATORY PRACTICES

Description. Good laboratory practice means different things to different people. This course addresses good laboratory practice in the wider sense - all the practices that ensure that laboratory testing is planned, performed, monitored, recorded and reported in an organized and controlled manner. The introduces participants to the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice and provides the opportunity for staff of all levels to understand the importance of GLP compliance, and how to apply the requirements of GLP into their everyday work, either in the laboratory or within areas of Quality Assurance.

Objectives. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:
    - Understand the requirements of good laboratory practice for the
       effective running of a testing laboratory; and
    - Be able to set about applying these requirements into practice competently.

Who should attend. Laboratory Managers, Supervisors, Technicians, and Analysts who wish to increase their understanding of good laboratory practices.
