FOOD HYGIENE AND GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES(GMP) FOR BEGINNERS

Description: Food hygiene training is important because it improves your understanding of good hygiene standards and can help you to reduce the risk of food poisoning.

Practical information and advice contained in the course will enable food handlers to operate in accordance with the basic principles of food hygiene, therefore ensuring that the food they handle does not cause illness, injury or any other problem.

Objective. At the end of the seminar, the participants shall be able to understand the principles of food safety and how to apply this knowledge in order to control hazards and prevent illness, injury or any other food-related problem.

Who should attend. Anyone in a food related business who needs to have an understanding of the principles of food safety.

Methodology. The course will include a mixture of formal teaching, and small group work to gain a good understanding of food hygiene in an enjoyable way.
