Description. This course provides the participant knowledge and skill in temperature measurement and calibration of liquid-in-glass thermometer and volumetric wares.

Objectives.  To provide participants with knowledge and skills in correct measurements and calibration of liquid-in-glass thermometers and volumetric wares thereby improving quality of products.

Methodologies. The course will make use of lectures, problem solving activities and hands-on operation of equipment and instrument.

Who should attend. This course is designed for the following: 1. chemists, engineers and technical staff doing liquid-in-glass thermometer and volumetric ware calibration. 2. quality assurance/control officers whose job function is to maintain company's quality system 3. trainers' in technical schools and industrial facilities 4. officers of testing and calibration laboratories 5. college instructors and sales engineers

    2.2 To deliver glassware like burettes and volumetric pipettes
3. Identification of factors affecting the accuracy of volumetric wares
4. Cleaning Methods to remove particular contaminants on laboratory wares
